This after-all, is the purpose of Chefmixer, to give chefs a public platform to share their skills and allow others to find them. All chef profile information, pictures, videos, descriptions, and events will be made public. Chefmixer provides the tools for chefs to edit and/or remove these details at any time.
Private Information
There are a few items that are optional to be made private during the chef profile creation process. These items include things like email address and phone number. At any time a user can change their preference for public display of these items. If there is not an option for a piece of information to be made private, it should be assumed that information will be publicly available.
Private Messaging
Chefmixer provides an internal messaging service between clients and chefs. This allows chefs to receive messages from interested clients and return messages without having to make their email address public. This messaging service also prevents clients from having to give their email address to potential chefs.
